For more than one night I wouldn't stay, only in room with normal window. Staff was very nice.

Clean and comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff.

Mold in the room, only a little window up the wall.

Not particularly close to any of the MRT stations. It is situated in an old district of Taipei and in an old building. From the outside it is really not much to look at. The part of the floor that the hotel is at is totally newly renovated. Friendly counter staff. Convenient location.

A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel.

It was close to the Main Station—clean, efficient, reasonably priced. Our room had a fridge, and there was free coffee, cakes, and a microwave in the lobby. Helpful staff.

The ground-floor entrance doesn’t look very inviting (and the guard was extremely rude and surly, brushing us aside, maybe because he was sick of new arrivals asking where the elevator was.)

Reasonable price in central location, 5min walk to Taipei main station which is v convenient

Room is really small for 3 of us. It's located on 4F of an old building so u need to carry ur suitcases up a small flight of steps at ground floor which is rather inconvenient.

Walking 15mins (kids speed) to Zhongshan MRT station, 10mins to Ningxia night market (small market). Family Mart and 7 elevan just opposite. Minimart just 2 shops away but cannot use overseas credit card for purchase (weird). Staffs are friendly.

Entrance via an old building blocks. Room without windows.

Wonderful

The location is very strategic. Walking distance to Ningxia Night market and not too far from Taipei Main Station (about 15 min walk). Taxi from hotel to train station will cost about 100twd (if too tired to walk). There are free flows of coffee/ teas with many varieties. Opposite the hotel, there's Family mart and 7 Eleven. There is also a supermarket next to the hotel and various eateries nearby and around the corner.

The room is a bit small. The hotel is located inside a very old building which might look a bit creepy to the kids.

Overall I'm happy with my accommodations

I liked the room I was staying in overall, few imperfections but was clean, plenty space, and comes with a table and water boiler. Friendly/helpful staff, they were kind enough to check me in early and provide me a room. Location is pretty good, 2 convenience stores across the street, about 10 min walk to the taipei main station and taipei city mall, and bank of taiwan was near for foreign exchange.

The bathroom design, the bathroom itself looks nice but there is no door for the shower space. Half of it is a glass wall, the other half nothing. The bathroom has a door, but I would like another door for the shower. If you have trouble finding this place, the front entrance says "King Plaza Hotel" in gold letters, there is an ad outside behind a pillar and a few signs that said Queen Hotel II inside the building. For what I see Queen Hotel II portion has a modern look, but the rest of the building, ehh... not so much.

Superb

Good and strategic location. Very near to night market. Walkable distance to airport MRT, city MRT, bus and train stations. You can consult hotel staff for directions.

Outside weather sure is cold to 8 degree, and our room can be a bit cold. Might be because it is old building. To reach hotel, need to go through public entrance of old store building. Glad the neighbour store is friendly and we asked for directions. Bed is a bit small, but tolerable.

Cleanliness and customer services. Walking distance to night market and shopping center. Even not far away to Taipei station. Walking distance. In front is bus station, very convenient. Will definitely come back again !!!!

The same floor has a ktv restaurant?? I guess.. first night wasn't pleasant due to the ktv singing until late night 2pm.. Sounds system not really noise cancelled. Can even hear what they talking about... Thank goodness second night are silent enough.

Great stay in Taipei.

The hotel was well located in Taipei: 10 minutes walk to the main train station. Beds were comfy and they had free coffee and tea in the reception (and in the room). They have dehumidifiers running in the hallway to make sure the hotel does not smell humid. Great WiFi Note: - On Google Maps, it’s called “Hotel New Queen 2” - The entrance is inside a generic building, find the elevator and go to the 4th floor.

Very good

Very convenient location as it is of walkable distance from Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Station. Also walkable to Ningxia night market and Pier 5. Family Mart and 7-11 just across the streets, and cafes and food nearby the area. There is also a shared area that has a microwave and water dispenser. Staff also allowed us to keep our luggage for 4 days while we were travelling parts of Taiwan before coming back to Taipei for the last 2 days. Room was fine with basic amenities, worth it for its price!

Shower area could have came with a full glass door (it was only half) or a shower curtain. The toilet area was always wet because of this. Poor soundproofing, could constantly hear the slightess noises when people were passing by the corridor or talking. Quite difficult to find the building - building was a bit run down but not too much of a problem.
